Abstract

Marianne Frisén's article provides a remarkable and appealing description of many facets belonging to the subject called "sequential surveillance"-other, presumably more known names are also mentioned in her article. The subsequent discussion is twofold. A short reflection of applying surveillance procedures in industry will start the article. Some numerical results and figures will complete the discussion.
