Abstract
A hybrid switch setup combined of two topologies, two semiconductor materials and two technologies offers many parameters affecting the overall losses during operation. In this publication the effect of the DC-link voltage on the hybrid switch consisting of SiC-MOSFET and Si-IGBT is investigated as well as the influence on the total losses and the efficiency of the setup is presented.
