- PublicationOpen AccessData set: Impedance measurement data at the grid connection point of an ORC (Organc Rankine Cycle) system, measured in February 2024(UB HSU, 2024)The .csv file contains quarter-hourly measurement data from a medium-voltage connection point of an ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) system, spanning from February 13, 2024, at 19:33 to February 14, 2024, at 18:19. Sheets 1-6 contain the measured loop impedances. Sheets 7-12 contain the line impedances. Sheets 13 and 14 contain the positive sequence impedance. The magnitude and phase of the impedance are each split across two sheets. Each sheet contains in column A a running index, in column B the date, in columns C and D the start and end time of the measurement, in column F the number of measurement cycles, in column G the measured quantity, and from column H onwards, the measured values from frequencies rangig from DC to 150 kHz.
- PublicationOpen AccessData set: Measurements of the positive sequence impedance of eleven measurement sites from 2016 to 2024(UB HSU, 2024)These data sets contain all exhibited positive sequence impedance measurement outcomes presented in the paper "Survey of Harmonic Grid Impedance Measurements on the Medium Voltage Level up to 100 kHz" from the measurement sites A-K. Metadata regarding the measurement sites can be found in the paper.
- PublicationMetadata onlyExperiencing beauty in everyday life(Springer Nature, 2024-04-24)Beauty surrounds us in many ways every day. In three experience sampling (ESM) studies we investigated frequency, category of eliciting stimuli (natural vs human-made) and, the potential moderating role of several individual difference measures on such everyday experiences of beauty in an ecologically valid manner. Further, we explored the impact of such experiences on valence & arousal. Study 1 re-analysed data from a previous study, in line with the current aims. In Studies 2 and 3, we asked participants to report daily experiences of beauty using a mixed random and event-contingent sampling schedule. Mobile notifications (random sampling) prompted participants to take a photo and rate the beauty of their surroundings. Further, current valence and arousal were assessed. Notification frequency and total days of participation differed between these two studies. Participants were able to report additional experiences outside of the notification windows (event-contingent sampling). Our results indicate that we frequently encounter beauty in everyday life and that we find it in nature, in particular. Our results further suggest a mood-boosting effect of encounters with beauty. Lastly, our results indicate influences of individual differences however, these were inconclusive and require further attention.

- PublicationMetadata onlyCognitive warfare: a conceptual analysis of the NATO ACT cognitive warfare exploratory concept(Frontiers Research Foundation, 2024-11-01)This study evaluates NATO ACT's cognitive warfare concept from a political science perspective, exploring its utility beyond military applications. Despite its growing presence in scholarly discourse, the concept's interdisciplinary nature has hindered a unified definition. By analyzing NATO's framework, developed with input from diverse disciplines and both military and civilian researchers, this paper seeks to assess its applicability to political science. It aims to bridge military and civilian research divides and refine NATO's cognitive warfare approach, offering significant implications for enhancing political science research and fostering integrated scholarly collaboration.
